No power shut downs 10/9/19

Dear Families,

More than likely you have heard that PG&E is predicting that a large PSPS is "highly probable" for some areas of Solano and Napa Counties beginning as early as midnight tonight. This is due to extreme high winds and dry conditions forecasted for late tonight through Thursday morning.

The shutoff could impact large areas of Solano and Napa Counties. Here is a map of the areas that PG&E expects may be affected. PG&E said that they will be calling any customers that are at imminent risk of having their power turned off tonight, beginning around 9:00am this morning.

Currently, none of our learning centers are scheduled to be impacted, but we have been cautioned that the PG&E maps may change and outages may occur outside of the boundaries. As a reminder, should power go out tonight at any of our learning centers, that center will be closed for the following day. This is because it is impossible to know how quickly power will be restored. Should power go out during the school day, we will keep the school open until the end of the day until all children are safely back with parents.

Please be safe during this power shut offs. For example, traffic lights will not work so travel safely. Please keep in touch with your IST with requests for support and check our website for updates. If conditions change quickly, we will use our e-notify system and send a text message to all enrolled families.
