MONDAY: This week’s feature composer is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The feature composition is the first movement from “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (EYE-na KLY-na NOCKT-moo-zeek). The title of this composition is in German because that is the language Mozart spoke. In English, (Eine kleine Nachtmusik” means “A Little Nightmusic.” Mozart composed the introduction almost like a fanfare. He wanted to get our attention for the music that is to come.

TUESDAY: This week’s feature composer is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The feature composition is the first movement of Eine kleine Nachtmusik. Mozart composed “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (A Little Nightmusic), for people to listen to after a fancy dinner. This is how wealthy people and kings and queens entertained themselves about 200 years ago. Mozart composed a triumphant introduction, almost like a fanfare.
